Siam Center held an opening celebration for a new exhibition by renowned French artists Mathias Augustyniak and Michael Amzalag from M/M (Paris) last night (Friday November 21st).

The exhibition will be on display until February 28th, and features artworks created for some of world’s biggest brand names.  Highlights include posters designed in conjunction with Balenciaga, a design set for Yohji Yamamoto, posters designed in partnership with artist Sarah Morris, graphic designs for V Magazine and a design object named “The Agent”.

Also on show is a special sculpture outside the mall created especially for the festive season, and titled “A Cheerful Spring of Froses in the Flock of Golden Birds”.  This piece is six metres tall and is decorated with translucent plastic lamps and gold painted birds.

Marking the occasion was special guest Yaya Urassaya Sperbund, one of Thailand’s top celebrities, who sang a rendition of “All I Want for Christmas is You” live on stage for the first time.
