Working Out With Lisa @ Asia Fitness Convention
Famous fitness and choreography expert Lisa Wheeler has jetted into Bangkok from her New York home to conduct a series of upbeat sessions at the Asia Fitness Convention 2011 at the Imperial Queen's Park Hotel. The visit marks Lisa's first visit to Asia, and, even though she is currently suffering from a back problem, she was up on stage shortly after the opening ceremony taking a group of fitness professionals through their paces.
Lisa has worked as a professional dancer for the last 20 years, taking part in Broadway and off Broadway productions with internationally renowned modern dance companies. She has a BA in Dance and Theatre, and has starred in over 25 fitness DVD's. Currently hosting the Westin Workout fitness segment on SPG TV, Lisa has presented fitness programmes for several TV shows, including Good Morning America, The Today Show, CNN Headline News and the NFL Channel.

Lisa has choreographed for Lionsgate Films and Fit Vid Productions, working on well known productions like Fame, Dirty Dancing and American Gladiators. This year she has started up Wheels in Motion Productions, taking care of all things connected to dance and fitness, from casting to choreography, for film, television, DVD and stage.
She said "I am thrilled to be at the Asia Fitness Convention for the first time. I have been presenting around the world for over 10 years but this is my first time in Bangkok, Thailand, or any country in the Asia Pacific region. I am always thrilled to travel to new places, meet new people and see what is hot and happening in fitness and health. Every country and region has something unique and special to offer our industry and I am looking forward to experiencing the culture of fitness in Thailand.
This is the third annual Asia Fitness Convention, and over 500 mainly fitness professionals are attending from around the world. Over 30 world class health and fitness experts are conducting a series of classes and lectures over three days under the banner of "Beyond Excellence - Transformation Through Purpose".
