Wine Pub @ Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel
Bangkok Scene recently visited the Wine Pub
at Bangkok Pullman King Power Hotel,
which is within easy walking distance of the
Victory Monument Skytrain station. If antipasti
and mezzes are your scene, then the Wine Pub
is well worth a look, as the kitchen delivers these

The Wine Pub recently celebrated its third anniversary. The venue boasts a fine range of wines from all corners of the globe, a selection of cheeses to match, and a smorgasbord of cold cuts. A relaxed environment comes to life later in the evening when the latest hip hop sounds are aired by the resident DJ.
A wine fridge forms the centrepiece of the intimate surroundings and special menus are tailored to suit all appetites. Daily promotions are all priced at 990 baht, and are available between 6pm and 10pm, with the venue closing at 2am each day. Specials range from All You Can Eat Pasta nights (Tuesdays), to All You Can Eat Tapas nights (Saturdays). Both of these specials come with a bottle of house wine.
Arriving on a Wednesday night we enjoyed the Coq Au Vin special, ably supported by lobster bisque, for starters, and grilled snow fish with virgin sauce and garden vegetables.
Other evenings of note:
Mondays: Mussel Night - choose from three different mussel dishes,
with two glasses of house wine.
Thursdays: Five cheeses and five cold cuts, plus a bottle of house wine.
Fridays: A set of two burgers (Wagyu Beef and Shrimp),
plus a bottle of house wine.
Sundays: Seafood Platter, including two glasses of Prosecco.
