Teddy Bear Christmas Tree Unveiled at Hilton Sukhumvit in Bangkok
Hilton and DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok recently held a Christmas tree lighting ceremony with a difference at the lobby of Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok. The hotel has decorated the Christmas tree with over 400 teddy bears dressed up in Hilton’s signature purple uniform in four styles: waiter, chef, bell boy and VIP guest. The teddy bears will be sold to raise money for charity.
Aiming to pass the happiness of the season onwards, the hotel will donate THB250 per piece to ARK International Thailand after selling the teddy bears.
Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok has enjoyed a successful first year of operation under the leadership of General Manager Mr. David Ecija (above, centre). During this time, the hotel has been honoured with three awards that highlight its excellent standards.
The Clean & Green Certificate Award is a campaign managed by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration under the umbrella of “Bangkok Clean and Green”. It aims to improve Bangkok by developing a good living environment and healthy city, which will reduce the future risk of diseases and bad hygiene. The campaign is also part of Bangkok’s preparation to be one of the cleanest metropolises in the future Asean Economic Community.
