Chef Suparek "Ton" Aekkuttiyakorn prepares Boston Lobster Bisque


Tables quickly gained a reputation for providing a unique ambience after it opened in 2009, as it was, and still is, Bangkok’s first and only traditional European Restaurant with tableside cooking.  The elegant surroundings are home to several cooking stations, each providing its very own signature dish.

Diners can see their Boston Lobster Bisque being freshly prepared on one table, while Serrano Ham with Scottish Smoked Ham is sliced on another.  Champagne Risotto with Black Truffles and Reggiano Parmesan is cooked to order, while Caesar Salad has its own table, as does the cheese selection.

All these dishes and more are being served in the Tables Signature Dinner Promotion, which runs from October 1st to November 30th 2012.  The evening begins with Seafood on Ice, and then guests are free to order as many appetisers as they wish.  A main course of seafood or steak can then be selected, with signature dishes such as Steak au Poivre, Grilled Australian Lamb Chops, Pan Fried Sea Bass, Flamed Tiger Prawns, Boston Lobster Thermidor, Dover Dole Meuniere and Slow Cooked Duck Leg among the choices.

Just one price applies, B2,200++ per person, although wine pairings are on a by the glass or by the bottle rate.  The price also includes the choice of either a European Cheese Selection or the Tables Dessert Platter to complete the dining experience.
