Simply Scandinavian Launch

14.05.2011

The Rain Tree Cafe launched the opening night of the Simply Scandinavian food promotion at the Plaza Athenee Bangkok, A Royal Meridien Hotel, on Friday May 13th.  Guests and dignitaries were on hand as hotel General Manager Choo-Leng Goh cut the tape to begin proceedings.

Bjorn Ekstrand, Chef de Cuisine at Indigo Restaurant and Bar in Sweden will be cooking a complete range of Scandinavian specialities until May 22nd.  Hot and cold dishes to savour include a selection of herring dishes, salmon, meatballs, cold cuts, cheeses and breads, thereby providing guests with a gourmet Smorgasbord experience.

The buffet style presentation is available until May 22nd for dinner and Sunday brunch.  Dinner between Sunday and Thursday is priced at THB 1,420, on Friday and Saturday at THB 1,980 and at THB 3,040 for Sunday brunch.
