Pints Galore @ The Pintsman
General Manager Eddie Grant raises a pint to the success of his brand new venture in Silom Road. The Pintsman is Bangkok's latest gastro pub, and features an extensive range of beers from around the globe. At present there are 10 draft beers available, along with 45 different bottled beers, but Eddie is already planning to extend the list with new varieties; he recently added Spanish special Estrella Inedit, which is flavoured with coriander, orange peel and liquorice, and is the first beer to be specifically created to accompany food.

The Pintsman sits in the basement of the United Centre, which is within a short walk of the Sala Daeng Skytrain station. There is seating for 100 customers (75 indoors and 25 outdoors) who can take advantage of the full kitchen serving European and Thai favourites.
Live music is heavily featured, with an Unplugged session on Wednesdays, Stray Cats rockabilly on Fridays and Love Bone appearing in Wanna Funk every Saturday. Flat screen televisions have also been installed throughout the venue to provide live sport.
Projective mapping has been installed behind the stage, with two projectors producing one shaped to fit image that can be used to show images of guests during special parties. It can also be used to project videos. Wooden flooring has been used throughout the interior, but there is also an outdoor garden area (above) for patrons wishing to smoke. Pool aficionados have been catered to with the installation of a championship pool table in its own secluded den.
Chef Anthony Healy relaxes with a pint after a busy lunch session. The pub is open daily from 11am to 1am and is available for private parties; for more information ring 02-234-2874 or email email@example.com
