Party Like a Contemporary Mad Man with Zuma Bangkok's Cocktail Creations

Zuma Bar Supervisor Tod Kiattiphattanavadee mixes one of his cocktail creations

Don Draper and his advertising agency colleagues may have sparked a wave of enthusiasm for cocktails from the sixties in the hit TV show Mad Men, with their regular onscreen imbibing of their favourite tipples, but the cocktail list at Zuma Bangkok takes on a more up to the minute appeal.  Drinks such as the Old Fashioned, Tom Collins, Stinger and Brandy Alexander have been supplanted by modern creations that feature local ingredients, like the Rubabu, South East Asian Cooler, Lychee Rose Martini and Zuma Mai Tai.

Rubabu: Vodka, Rhubarb Infused Sake, Passion Fruit, Lemon and Gomme

South East Asian Cooler: Bison Grass Vodka, Cloudy Apple Juice, Fresh Mint, Passion Fruit, Cinnamon Syrup, Lemon and Gomme

Zuma patrons have their chance, seven days a week, to tip their hat to Mad Men traditions, with cocktails available all day from 12 o’clock midday until closing.

New cocktails are always being developed, with Zuma Bangkok liaising closely with Zuma Hong Kong to cultivate ideas using fresh new ingredients.  A range of new drinks is expected to be introduced soon.
A drinks special is also in effect from 2pm-7pm, for those wishing to explore other tastes.  Nagomi Time features 100 baht glasses of Zonin Prosecco, 600 baht bottles of Zonin Prosecco and buckets of five Asahi beers for 380 baht.

Zuma is located at the St. Regis Bangkok, and is connected to the Ratchadamri Skytrain station in Ratchadamri Road.

Lychee Rose Martini: Vodka, Lychee, Rose, Lemon and Gomme

Zuma Mai Tai: White Rum, Dark Rum, Ume Shu, Orange Bitters, Blood Orange, Lime, Lemon, Pineapple and Almond Syrup
