Molecular Cocktails are as Easy as wxyz at Aloft Hotel, Bangkok.

Aloft Hotel, in Sukhumvit Soi 11, has recently introduced a range of molecular cocktails to their drinks list for cool customers to sip while listening to the latest grooves at the w xyz lounge.


Exotic names such as Heaven on Earth, Smoked Cosmo on the Rocks, Past Old Dream, After Sunset and B52+1 have been coined to arouse curiosity, with each cocktail blending frozen products to produce ice cold treats.


A range of bar snacks has also been introduced to provide fuel for dancing, and these include assorted cold cuts with parma ham, Italian salami, Spanish chorizo, Mortadella and olives, chicken quesadilla with bell pepper and garlic cream, and grilled beef brisket with chilli.

Bangkok Chefs Charity Gala Dinner @ Mandarin Oriental

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has once again agreed to grace the Bangkok Chefs Fundraising Gala Dinner at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.  The 2012 event will be the fourth, and will once again team up chefs from Thailand's most high profile five star hotels along with Thai Airways International, their brief being to provide a unique gastronomic banquet.  Participating chefs gathered at a press conference in the famous hotel's Royal Ballroom on May 17th to give details of this year's highly anticipated menu.

Pullman Bangkok Hotel G was officially opened with a glamorous party on May 17th 2012, when guests were treated to champagne, cocktails, canapes, tapas and live music from the lobby level to the top storey Scarlett Wine Bar.  The newest lifestyle hotel on Silom Road, the Pullman Bangkok Hotel G was recently renovated and now provides 469 high end rooms and suites, all with floor to ceiling windows that give guests perfect views of the city skyline.

Asiatique The Riverfront - Bangkok's Trendy New Lifestyle Project

A brand new shopping and dining experience awaits alongside the banks of the Chao Phraya River with the unveiling of the swanky Asiatique The Riverfront development.  Housed within the precincts of the old East Asiatic Company pier, the project gives Bangkok residents and tourists another reason to hop aboard a ferry to meander along the city's main arterial waterway.  Dedicated boat services run from the Sathorn Pier, at Saphan Thaksin Skytain station, for the 10 minute trip.

Parkview First Anniversary Spanish Menu at Imperial Queen's Park Hotel, Bangkok.

Chef Jordi Bernus, from Barcelona, who will be preparing a special Spanish menu.


It's 12 months since the 7,000,000 baht refurbishment of Parkview Restaurant at The Imperial Queen's Park Hotel in Sukhumvit 22 was completed, and, since re-opening for business, over 60,000 guests have visited to try the exciting new buffet for themselves.  To celebrate the anniversary the hotel is holding a five day celebration, from May 31st to June 4th 2012, featuring the finest culinary products of Spain.

Cryptoart Exhibition by The Raf Opens at Eat Me Restaurant in Bangkok.

Bangkok based Spanish artist The Raf opened his second exhibition at Eat Me Restaurant in Convent Road in Silom, Bangkok, on May 7th 2012.  His new collection is titled Cryptoart and delivers The Raf's own unique take on some of the world's most famous paintings.

An Evening of Bossa Nova and Jazz with Aude Lhotelais at Dream Hotel, Bangkok.

French songstress Aude Lhotelais was the star attraction when the Dream Hotel in Sukhumvit 15 held an evening of Bossa Nova and Jazz on May 3rd 2012.


The occasion marked the final appearance of Aude before she returns to her native Le Havre.  She performed songs from her new album, Duets, which is a joint collaboration with Carles GR and also features Pierre Boussaguet on several tracks.

A Room With a View - 100m Restaurant at S31 Hotel, Bangkok.

The relatively new 100m Restaurant at the S31 Hotel in Sukhumvit Road may not be one of the biggest rooftop venues in Bangkok, but it provides a cosy, romantic getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city below, while providing intriguing views of The Emporium Shopping Mall and Benjasiri Park alongside.

The Imperial Queen's Park Hotel in Sukhumvit 22 launched two new events on Wednesday May 2nd.  Astrology enthusiasts will be pleased to note that Astrology for Charity is back once more, with part of the proceeds going to the Foundation of the Promotion of the French Language and French Studies under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra.

New Amuse Bouche Tapas Menu at Bonjour Restaurant Bangkok

Award winning Bonjour Restaurant has announced a new regular tapas theme to run every Friday night from 7pm until 9pm.  Titled the Amuse Bouche Menu, the all you can eat deal comes with a bottle of wine for two.

 

The elegant French Restaurant sits just 200 metres from Sukhumvit Road, between sois 59 and 61, and can be reached on foot from the Ekkamai BTS Skytrain station inside 10 minutes.  The stand alone property provides a peaceful retreat from the busy main road.  Ornate gardens feature a fountain, a pond and there are even two swans gliding around making the most of the tranquil setting.
