Mr. Sukamal Mondal, general manager of Oriental Residence Bangkok, hosted the grand opening of the brand new Oriental Room, located on the second floor. As the new envy on Wireless Road, the Oriental Room provides an elegant setting ideal for a variety of events, from romantic weddings and corporate meetings, to product launches, cocktail receptions and sophisticated parties.
The Oriental Room could seat up to 200 people and may be divided to form the Oriental Suite for smaller functions, accommodating around 90 people. Also available are the Oriental Bar, which can be used for coffee breaks, and beverage section, which may be used for any on-going event and by the public on regular days.
With soft copper tones, the Oriental Room and Oriental Bar offer a cosy atmosphere, with a modern ambience and a touch of tradition. Combining all these elements, the Oriental Room will surely be the new chic and luxurious venue on Wireless Road, perfect for stylish and intimate celebrations.
The Oriental Room held its opening ceremony on Wednesday, 22 June 2016, under the theme “Oriental with Style”. In attendance were VIP guests, including H.E. Mr. Karel Hartogh, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Thailand and Nuchanun Aranyanark, wife of famous Thai singer Two Popetorn. During the ceremonies, Oriental Bar recognised the evening’s highly esteemed guests by exclusively preparing their favourite cocktails. Mr. Karel Hartogh’s favourite cocktail is Whisky Sour while Nuchanun Aranyanark's is the Cosmopolitan.
Guests were serenaded with live violin and saxophone music during the event.
