Crave Restaurant at Aloft Hotel in Sukhumvit 11, Bangkok, is embracing the latest in design and technology with the implementation of mix and match cuisine and iPad menus.


Bold concepts and culinary creativity are being incorporated within the stylish surroundings to produce a memorable wining and dining experience.

Aloft Bangkok is the first Aloft Hotel in Southeast Asia, so contemporary designs and flavours were deliberately sought.  Crave is the embodiment of this bold approach, with diners experiencing creative a la carte menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner.


Additionally, there are over 250 imported wines from around the world to select from, using the high tech iPad menus, with all labels sold at wholesale prices.


Overseeing the enterprise is Executive Chef Nachart Tengkanokkul (Chef Nine), who comes to Crave with a wealth of experience, having plied his trade at some of the finest dining establishments in Thailand and Sydney, Australia.  He has designed a creative mix and match menu that incorporates the best of local and international cuisine.


“It’s an honour and a delight to have been chosen as executive chef for Aloft Bangkok - Sukhumvit 11,” said Chef Nine. “The opportunity to work for such a unique, modern hotel like Aloft is especially exciting to me because I feel that it is a great match for my culinary style and diverse background. Although I take any job I do very seriously, I hope to have some fun with this role, aligning with Aloft’s fresh, hip and friendly ethos. I look forward to working with my team to craft the perfect signature dishes, and receiving our savvy customers’ feedback firsthand so we can continue to improve. I am confident that our guests will be pleased with the results.”


Crave sits on the hotel's eighth floor, providing a spacious, stylish yet casual atmosphere with an air-conditioned main restaurant with seating for 104 and an outdoor area with seating for 50.  Smart casual all day dining is on offer, with the restaurant opening for breakfast at 6.30am and closing at 11pm.

20 Minute Cured Salmon - marinated salmon slices served with gingko and micro sprout tossed in Northeastern style vinaigrette

 

Black Chicken Confit - moist and crispy chicken over abalone mushroom risotto topped with crushed Brie cheese and drizzled truffle oil

 

Jumbo Choux Cream - filled with chocolate Kahlua ice cream topped with soft cream and almond cookies
