Cancer Care Charity Fun Run at Lumpini Park, Bangkok.

The Fifth Annual Cancer Care Charity Fun Run was recently held in Bangkok’s Lumpini Park.  Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok organized the event, in conjunction with the Thai Red Cross Society, to raise funds for cancer research programmes.  This year’s recipient from the proceeds of the run is the ‘Hematological Cancer Research Centre’ at Chulalongkorn Hospital.

Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok remains very committed to this important charity fun run which streamlines their fund-raising activities in Thailand along with their sister hotels in Thailand: Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai and Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui.   This year’s run was supported by top donors such as B.Grimm, L’Occitane, Singha Corporation, Hello Magazine, Masala Magazine, Raffles Design Institute, KTZMICO, Starbucks and the Canadian Embassy.

With approximately 2,000 runners, the charity fun run was entered by groups, families, individuals and companies who generously set aside their time to participate.

H.E. Madame Taya Teepsuwan, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, graciously attended the charity fun run as the guest of honour, together with various Ambassadors and their wives as well as staff.
