03.05.2012

The Imperial Queen's Park Hotel in Sukhumvit 22 launched two new events on Wednesday May 2nd.  Astrology enthusiasts will be pleased to note that Astrology for Charity is back once more, with part of the proceeds going to the Foundation of the Promotion of the French Language and French Studies under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra.

The event is being held in conjunction with The Astrology Group, and will run daily until May 14th 2012 in the Lai Thong Restaurant in the lobby.  Nine leading astrology experts have been recruited to predict the future, and guests have the chance to consult Pornsuk Pengmanee, Suwas Worawas, Kanjanaporn Manorom, Pornchanun U-kritchoke, Wilawan Hanwimolwat, Yongyut Noirachukorn, Ek Aritouch, Piriyatham Sithipreedasakul or Puthaporn Withawatsamrankul.

Tickets are priced at 500 baht net, but those attending have the opportunity to receive fifty percent discount on food at the lunch buffet, dinner buffet or Sunday brunch at the adjacent Parkview Restaurant.  The event runs from 10am until 6pm.

The hotel also introduced their new "High Tea in the Park", which upholds classic high tea traditions.  Sweet and savoury delights include cup cakes, sandwiches, curry puffs, fish snacks, quiche, brioche, scones, cakes, sacher slices and a chocolate fountain.  A selection of free flow teas and coffees round off the afternoon treat.  The in-house pianist will provide a soothing backdrop by playing soft jazz music.  Held in the hotel lobby, the high tea costs 399 baht net per person and runs daily between 2pm and 5.30 pm until October 31st 2012.
